Halldór Ragnarsson (b. 1981) completed a BA degree (2007) and an MA degree (2014) from the Fine Arts Department of the Iceland University of the Arts, after previously studying philosophy and pedagogy at the University of Iceland. He has held 13 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions both in Iceland and abroad. Additionally, Halldór published a photography and travel book called Leit að lífi (A Search for Life) in 2018, which is largely based on his journal from a three-month journey through the southern Caribbean.
