Everything is in motion and nothing stands still. The works delve into the dynamic and restless essence of the natural world, where everything blooms and eventually fades. Rhythmic and light brushstrokes reflect the regular flow and pulse of creation. Rich materiality and texture are prominent, giving an ambiguous sense of whether the subject is flesh, landscape, microcosm, or mythical beings. Oil and delicate materials such as charcoal and dry pastel blend together, an essential part of the creative process where the materials work independently and merge in unexpected ways. Upon close inspection, one can see fine drawings or charcoal beneath the paint, and in the transparency, the viewer becomes aware of repetitive and pulsating patterns that lie beneath the surface. Soft colors and organic forms entice the viewer into an ambiguous world where conflicts rise to the surface.
