Rebekka Rafnsdóttir completed a B.A. in Creative Writing and Philosophy at the University of Iceland in 2010. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from The New School in New York in 2017 and completed a program in Filmmaking, with a focus on experimental documentary, at the same institution in 2019. She completed a project management program in 2023. Rebekka received the Bette Howland Nonfiction Award in 2017. In recent years, she has worked across various media in her artistic practice and has taught at Cottonwood New York.
