Aðalheiður Valgeirsdóttir
Aðalheiður Valgeirsdóttir (b. 1958) is a visual artist and self-employed art critic. She has held a number of solo exhibitions at Gerðarsafn, Ásmundarsalur and Hallgrímskirkja and participated in group exhibitions in Iceland and abroad. She has worked on various projects in the field of art history, as a teacher, author and curator of exhibitions in museums and galleries. Aðalheiður lives in Reykjavík and in Biskupstungur where she has a studio. The paintings are made on the border of the objective and the subjective in direct connection with nature and its ever-changing manifestations throughout the year.
