Sigurrós G. Björnsdóttir (b. 1991) is an Icelandic visual artist based in Antwerp, where she completed her MFA in fine arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2021. Before that, she graduated with a BA in product design from the Iceland University of the Arts in 2017. Sigurrós works in various media, with a focus on creating sculptures, installations, and drawings, often playing with the boundaries between two-dimensional and three-dimensional forms. She blends her personal experiences, storytelling, and influences from her surroundings in the creation of her works, conveying diverse narratives. Sigurrós has participated in numerous exhibitions both in Iceland and abroad.
