Sigga Björg Sigurðardóttir (b. 1986) is an artist based in Reykjavik. She completed her MFA degree from the Glasgow School of Art in 2004 and has since exhibited her works globally. Sigga Björg draws without inhibition, allowing everything to flow in an unexamined creative process. The outcome is often a series of drawings where human behavior, primitive traits, and emotions manifest in their rawest form. The artist frequently explores the blurry boundaries between humanity and the animalistic.
