STEIN – SKRIFT
17.12. 2020 – 10.02.2021
For the exhibition, STEIN – SKRIFT, Áslaug Íris Katrín Friðjónsdóttir shows new works where she assembles imagery, reading and comprehension, the presentation of languages and messages. Áslaug works with abstract imagery and examines how forms become symbols which then become part of systems, such as typefaces, signal systems, or alphabets. The title of the exhibition STEIN – SKRIFT is about hieroglyphs and runes that were carved in stone in the old days.
